Oracle Savour Business Awards Triumph

Specialist training provider Oracle Training Consultants are basking in glory after landing the main prize at the Rotherham Business Awards on Friday evening.

The company, who deliver a variety of training programmes for the hair and beauty industry, claimed the coveted Overall Award at the ceremony, which took place in front of over 500 guests at a packed Magna Centre where compére Harry Gration revealed the successful businesses.

Oracle’s overall triumph came in tandem with their successes in the Invest In Skills and Employee Of The Year categories – Oracle’s Rotherham Centre Director Carol Watson triumphed in the latter category.

The other categories winners toasting success on the evening were Speciality Paperboard Containers Ltd, Acorn Industrial Services Ltd, Rotherham Rugby Club & The Titans Community Foundation, Garnett Dickinson Print, Homeflair Village, Merlin Software Ltd and BBAD Ltd. Local businesswoman Janet Lister claimed the ATHENA award for Inspiring Women.

Sandra Spall, Quality Director at Oracle, said: “The true realisation of the evening’s events is slowly starting to dawn after we won not one, not two but three awards. What an accolade to be recognised for the Overall Award - it gives us a feeling of great satisfaction to realise the full extent of the achievement we have been awarded.
