Foundation Learning Tier

The Foundation Learning Tier (FLT) has been developed to support progression through the new Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) for 14-19 year olds who are currently below a L2 attainment.

The FLT offers individuals the opportunity to gain credits which will result in a final Award, Certificate or Diplomas and will allow easier progression onto future training and personal development. Each individual learner has their own learning plan which links each qualification aim which forms a pathway to progression, hopefully leading to employment through our Apprenticeship route. Together with the vocational awards on offer, functional skills is also part of the programme, again supporting the continued improvement of literacy and number skills.

Oracle work with two lead providers CTS Ltd and Morthyng Ltd.
