Skin Fade

Description

This one-day training course starts with an expert demonstration from an Oracle trainer. From there you put what you have seen straight into practice on real live clients, focusing on 0-fades. You are taught how to do a fade haircut step by step, with the trainer at your side throughout to supervise, build your confidence and progress your skill level so that you deliver exceptional results.

The fade is a timeless, mainstream hairstyle – perhaps the most important skill in men’s hairdressing, and one of the hardest to perform to a high standard. The ability to fade seamlessly is what distinguishes a good haircut from a great one.

This course teaches every aspect of this classic barbering technique, giving you the foundational knowledge for creating a flawless fade with no visible lines and a clean finish. We also cover the more advanced techniques needed to achieve skin fades, shading and blending.

• Demonstration of a skin fade cut, step by step, before you carry out different cuts on your live model
• Shaping, line-ups and finishing
• Blending

• Aftercare and product knowledge

Entry requirements

• For hairdressers and barbers who want more experience in skin fade and bare blade work
• A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in cutting is required
• You must provide your own models – please be aware of this before booking

When and where

One-day course, 10am to 4pm.

Run at our Doncaster and Rotherham centres.

Cancellations: if after booking you can no longer attend, we require a minimum of two weeks’ notice to give a full refund.
